The big day is here! Vera made up the salads, we put up another sun shade when it started getting hot by the BBQ. We even had time to sit back and relax for about an hour before people started showing up. I started the slide show of Debbie pictures on the TV just before 2 and let it run most of the afternoon.
It was 72.5 degrees at 2 o'clock, perfect for sitting out on the deck.
When people started arriving, I started cooking hamburgers and hot dogs, Vera had Josh set out the hot dishes. The salads and desserts were brought out (Dianne brought over a plate of cookies that I just finished the last of as I write this!) and we were ready to eat.

The only good picture I got of Debbie today! Everyone seemed to have a nice time visiting.
James had a great time visiting with Dianne and Steve. We put the outdoor speakers to good use, it was nice having music in the background. After most of the people had left, Michelle and James helped us clean up, it went much faster with their help, Thank You!
After a refreshing nap, watching some drag racing on TV, Vera and I lit all the burners on the deck and sat out visiting in the firelight.
It was a very nice way to end the day!
