Getting ready

I took this picture about nine in the morning, the hummingbird was feeding for quite a while, maybe that was breakfast.  I started getting ready for our trip to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.  I will only have to disconnect the power, water and hook up the Smart Car in the morning.  I gave Barry a hand shoveling more gravel this afternoon.

I took a bunch of bird pictures this afternoon, the Curved Bill Thrasher was working on the nest today.  He is funny to watch, he picks up twigs, looks at them and many times drops them and looks for another.

He usually sits on the back of this patio chair before and after working on the nest.

I had a nice visit with Barry and Mona by the fire pit this evening
