Driving to Williams

We drove up to Williams today.  I got us tickets to ride the train from there to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.  I was busy driving so I don't know where most of these pictures were taken at.  I picked out ones I liked and put them in order of the time they were taken by Vera.  These cactus sure had a lot of arms.
Once we got out of the Phoenix area the roads were a lot smoother.  Google detoured us around an accident so we went on a few roads that were not in our plan.
To me these rocks look like a hand sticking out of the ground.
There are some big rock formations along the road to Williams.
We started seeing some hills with trees and snow on them.
This was the first snow we saw on the ground.
I know this was taken as we turned onto the business route through Williams
There were not many rigs at the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, on the other side of the chain link fence is the railroad tracks.  They warn you about them when you register as it can be pretty loud.  They also warned us not to leave the water hose hooked up at night because it was getting down into the teens.  The nice thing is we are only about two hundred yards from where the train boards in the morning.
