Not a good day for a meeting!

It was a dark and stormy morning for the work party and meeting at the LCRC field.  Look at that wind sock, straight out!  Vera hopped out of the motor home and hopped right back in.  I added a layer and my winter hat before I got out and I am glad I did!  There wasn't much work to do, so everyone stood around and visited.  We ended up with about 21 members there for the meeting, a good turn out, probably because they were going to discuss moving the runway.  It was finally decided to move it for the summer to see how it works.   After the meeting, I put in two flight with the Dirty Birdy and we headed home.  After lunch, I did some cleanup inside the motor home and then put it away.  During the afternoon, I flew the quad in the house, then I could not get the battery out.  I ended up taking it to the shop, taking out 16 of the smallest screws I have worked with in a long time so I could get the bottom off.  I found a lip in the molded plastic part that the battery was catching on.  I trimmed it with an X-acto knife, then put it back together and took it to the house for a test flight.  I was tickled when it worked fine.
