We were sitting in the living room about 11 last night, Vera was reading and I was watching TV and surfing the net, when the lights blinked twice and went out. Vera's Kindle let her keep reading and I watched some videos on my laptop. After about a half hour, we gave up and headed to bed. When I reset the clocks this morning, I saw that the power was off for almost an hour. I spent the morning catching up on my blogs.
Laury asked me to let Sam out for awhile around noon, so I walked up and discovered I had forgotten the key, I need the exercise too, so the second trip was good for me. If I tell Sam to sit, he is really good about waiting for the ball to be thrown. Once the ball went over by a maple tree on the ground, Sam was determined to break a limb off to play with. He finally gave up and brought the ball back to me to throw again.
James had a game today at Mark Morris, we went early so Vera could have her favorite parking spot where she can watch the game.
James played a good game, making some nice passes and keeping it on one play and making a nice run. James' buddy Joey intercepted a pass and ran it in for a TD. They won 34 to 8 I believe, the score board quit working with 6:21 to go in the game. After the game Vera and I went to Freddy's for dinner, made a quick stop at Fred Meyer and headed home.
