The weather forecast for today was awesome so we headed to Toledo fairly early. The fog was just starting to clear off when we got there. The runway was a little rough and I wanted to fly the Lancaster today, so I mowed and rolled about half the runway.
Here I am ready for the first flight of the day. I ended up flying 15 times today and had a great time.
If you look close at the picture of me mowing, this barn is in the background. Later in the day, I zoomed up on it while I was playing with the camera. I sure like that 83x zoom!
Once the fog cleared we spent the whole day outside, this is Vera watching our friend Audrey shoot touch and goes. We finally headed home just as the sun was setting. We stopped at Betty's for a burger and a shake followed by a nice slow trip home via Jackson Hwy and Barnes Drive.
