Something new for us tonight, we went to the R A Long/Mark Morris Civil War game. I did not realize how big a deal it was, the place was loaded with people. We got there an hour and a half early and had to park 2 blocks away. It was a good thing Michelle had come over early and reserved some seats, we were right on the 45 yard line. Mark Morris was up 14 to nothing at half time, but the second half was really exciting as R A Long made a come back and tied it at 14 all. Mark Morris had a 99 yard kickoff return of the kick off after that score. Then R A Long took the lead 21 to 20 on a fumble return for a touchdown. Mark Morris took the lead again with a long drive, in the closing seconds R A Long was driving for a tying touch down, when Mark Morris intercepted a pass and was able to take a knee to run out the clock.
This is the final score, we headed home and relaxed for a couple of hours after all that excitement.
