More Football

Today was the last JV game of the year against R A Long.  It was an ugly game, light rain most of the time and the field got pretty muddy.  R A Long won 34 to 8, partly because of poor coaching by the MM coaches in my opinion.  On the last play of the game James got hurt, for some reason with 50 seconds left, with no chance of winning the coaches call a pass play that had not worked all afternoon.  James got hit from behind low and from the front by two tacklers and bent back over his knees.  They think, he has a strained MCL and there maybe an issue with the ACL.  They put him on crutches and iced it, he will see the doctor tomorrow.  After the game, we picked up pizza and took it up to James for dinner.  Mik and Michelle had a commitment that evening, so we sat with James, visited, ran errands for him, and watched Monday night football.
