I read the directions for the paint I used on the cowl and if it was over 4 hours between coats you had to wait 24 hours. I am pretty sure that was my problem.

Lots of Pictures
Another trip update, we took 1919 pictures while we were on our trip. 1521 with the Nikon P900 (Vera's favorite), 223 with the Nikon P7000 and 175 with my phone. I also took 6 videos with the Tarot 250 quad flying around Barry and Mona's place. I went to the Methodist Men's breakfast this morning. French toast made with cinnamon bread, potato paddies and bacon done just right! I had to have seconds on the french toast.
This afternoon I got the area around the Vortex's nose gear retract covered. I also got the cameras ready for pictures at church tomorrow.
