Today we headed for Shelton, our first stop was the Dairy Queen where Harrison Ave and Highway 12 meet. We both had Blizzards to go along with lunch. I had planned a new route to Shelton over the Delphi Rd and we really liked it.
There were two other groups setup when we got there and they had a big bunch of planes. The two guys in the motor home had four planes to put the maiden flights on this weekend.
This one really interested me, he had taken an F-15 kit and moved the tail forward and the wing backwards to turn it into a canard.
This is another of Todd's creations, he took two YAK 55s and made them a twin that he named the YAK 110. It has an electric ducted fan under the center wing section. He also has another center section with a small turbine mounted on it. He test flew it this evening, I will put a link to the video at the end. Here is a picture of us all set up for the weekend. I put a couple of flights on the Sukhoi before we settled in for the night.
