Dalton's Party
We started our day by going to church, the service was nice, with a very moving children's service. After we got home I decided to try out my Father's day present since the weather forecast this week was mostly rain. I changed clothes, put bar oil and a fresh battery in the saw. The alder that fell this winter was still blocking the trail by our compost pile so I headed down to move it. The saw worked great, I cut it into about 4 foot pieces that I could handle and threw it in the compost pile. The battery also out lasted me, it still had half of its charge when I got tired of playing working! We had an invitation to James' friend Dalton's graduation party this evening so after I cleaned up we headed to it. We didn't know many people at first, just Dalton and his folks so we ate. Then Levi and his folks showed up, followed by James and Kolbi. Mik and Michelle showed up a little later. Just as we were leaving we ran into Dalton's grandpa who I used to work with at the Fibre. He was a little surprised to see me there! We had a nice little visit with him before we left. We came home through Delameter and settled in at home for the night.
