Wednesday and Thursday both seemed like pretty busy days. Wednesday Vera went for her walk, came home, changed and headed out to bible study. I went to the shop and worked on planes until she got home. She had a late afternoon appointment at Kaiser and we had a list of things to do so we started out with lunch at the Country Village. That is always a nice way to start our adventure. After that we ran several errands and still had time before the appointment so we did a couple of more that we had not planned on. I even found the part for the club lawn mower. We finally went to Kaiser early and got signed in. Wouldn't you know it, they were running way behind. After the appointment we picked up a burger for dinner and headed home. We were both tired so I didn't do my blog last night.
Once it warmed up a little today I went out and put the solenoid on the club lawn mower. It turned over great, but still would not start. I pulled the plugs and had spark so I decided it must be damp. I made a tent over it with a tarp and put my Mr Heater in there and left it for an hour or so. It started right up after that, even with one spark plug out that I forgot to put back in. It ran even better with two plugs. I left it running for an hour of so and now it starts great. Tomorrow morning will be the acid test when I take it back. That was so successful I got my mower out and put the deck back on. It is sure a lot quieter now! The rain held off so I decided to put the moss killer we got yesterday on the lawn. I got the spreader out and loaded it up, when I got done it was still light out (I Love Daylight Saving Time!) so I hauled the ferns I had cut the other day and then got the clippers out and did three more ferns North of the house before the battery ran down. They made a pretty good load that I hauled to the compost pile.
