As I was watering this morning, I noticed these roses had the nicest fragrance, it is our biggest producer.
At about 11 this morning I asked Vera if she wanted to run down town to get the mail with me. After I got the mail, I asked her if she wanted to take a ride to a garage sale in Toutle, she said yes. It was another one with lots of signs, they had a fair amount of stuff, but priced fairly high. By the time we got back to Toutle, I was hungry, so we went into Drew's and got two orders of Skipper's fish. Vera suggested going to Harry Gardner Park and having a picnic, we had passed it going to the garage sale.We got as close to the river as we could and had our lunch, then we went for a walk.
The river is pretty low this time of year, Vera liked the sun reflecting off the rapids, so we took several pictures at this spot.
We walked down the river a little further, then picked a spot and took our first ever selfie! It only took us 6 or 8 tries to get one we liked. We managed to find 3 more garage sales to stop at on the way home, so it was 2 when we finally got back, quite the mail run.
I finished putting in the new main rotor shaft this afternoon and then ran a couple of batteries through the Cobra making adjustments to the stabilizer.
