Day Nineteen

We went up to Apache Junction for the Arizona Model Aviators 15th annual Electric Flight Festival this morning.  This is the first picture I took after I got registered.
This fifteen foot B-36 had been here several times and I have been following him get it ready for this year on R/C Groups.
I took this picture of the B-36 and a model C-130 flying together.
Motion R/C had lots of Electric Ducted Fans (EDF) there and they were flying all the time.
I have an F-4 at home in this same color scheme that I need to finish but it will have a 7 on the tail like the one I took picture of at Pima.
I was all fired up to get my EDF's going by the time we left.
My AT-6 looks pretty small sitting among those planes.  I don't know where my Extra 300 was when this picture was taken, maybe on a table getting ready to fly.  I got in five flights during the open flying part of the event and one more with the AT-6 during a warbird session.  Below is a panorama of the pit area, all the table are under cover and there were 120 volt outlets on the posts.  It was a very nice set up and lots of wide open space to fly in.  I only saw two crashes which was great considering how much flying was done.
