Day Twenty One

Today we went to a Gourd Festival at the Pinal County Fairgrounds with Barry, Mona, Dallan, Helen and two of their friends who I can not remember the names of.
Everywhere we looked there were things made out of gourds.

There were painted gourds, engraved ones, more ways of decorating them than I would have ever imagined.  Some were works of art the workmanship was so good.  I even ended up with one to try and use for the fuselage of a model plane.
Outside they had live music.  The banjo player of this family group is the Arizona state champion.
There were plenty of choices for food.  Vera tried one called "Cheese Cake in a Cone", I had Fry Bread for the first time with honey on it and I really liked it.
