The tail is done.

It was a pretty laid back day around here.  This morning I watched TV, checked emails and surfed the web.  James stopped by and we had a really nice visit.  I introduced him to Tim Conway by showing him some outtakes from the Carol Burnett show.  I finally went out to the shop this afternoon and got the cable bracing all installed on the tail of the Pitts.  Then I took a break until 5:30 when a guy showed up to check on taking down the dead tree by the driveway.  After he left, I went to work on the landing gear of the Pitts, I got it put together and decided the paint I had used on the fairings did not match so I took it back apart.  I searched through the cupboard and found three other shades of blue.  I sprayed some test samples and then repainted the fairings again with the one I thought looked the best.  We will see tomorrow if I like how this looks, if not it will be off to the store for more shades of blue.
When I came in from the shop this evening my mouth started watering as soon as I came through the the door and smelled the treat Vera had made.  It was a blueberry/cherry cobbler and my sense of smell was right, it tasted great.
