Pitts

Thursday I started gluing in hinges for the Pitts, there were twenty-one to do so it took quite a while.  I decided to glue the horizontal stabilizer in, when I turned it over to glue the other side I realized it was upside down.  Luckily CA debonder did the trick and I was able to get it out again.  I went to the Cowlitz Valley RC Flyers meeting tonight at Stuffy's, I had already eaten so I had their carrot cake and boy was it good.
The big news today was Jordon got his first tooth!

I went down for coffee with the pastor Friday morning and had a really good time.  I had planned on a hair cut, but she was closed so I got the mail, dropped off the recycling and went home.

Saturday I went down to the Methodist Men's breakfast.  Ron had fixed bacon, scrambled eggs, link sausage, hash browns and English muffins, it was great and I ate way more than I normally do in the mornings.  I had seen a couple of things I wanted at Harbor Freight in their ad so we headed to Longview.  I picked up the moving blankets plus a few other items and we went to lunch at the new Masthead Castaways.
We both had their halibut fish and chips which we really enjoyed.  Vera had their clam chowder and it was the best she has had in a long time.
It was nice and bright in there and we decided that we like it better than the old Masthead.  We made a quick stop at Safeway as we were going home.  It was really nice out so I spaded up the raised bed by the shop porch and planted some Astilbe which is supposed to attract butterflies.  Then I trimmed ferns and bushes, ran over the trails with the mower but never did do any work on the Pitts today.
