We had planned on going up to see Marie today, I loaded the latest pictures onto an SD card for her digital picture frame and we took off. It was a nice drive up, the traffic was light and the weather beautiful. When we got there, Marie was all dressed up for a program they were having upstairs. When it was time for it, I helped Marie and Vera get upstairs, then I ran over to visit Bob during the program. Bob and I had a great visit, the hour just flew by. When I got back, we visited with Marie until it was time for her to go to lunch, then we headed out for lunch and to do some shopping. When we finished everything, we decided to go home via Jackson Highway. I have been wanting a picture of this silo for a long time, today it was sunny and there was no traffic, so I stopped and took a couple pictures, this is the best one. We also stopped at some garage sales along Jackson Highway and ended up with a couple of things.
We took a side trip out around the Toledo airport and ran across this barn and oak tree. There was no traffic on School House road, so I did a couple of "U" turns until I found the view I liked. When we got home I watered the new plants by the small pond, worked on the helicopter a little and added some more programs to this computer. Me and Windows 8 are getting along much better.
This is what I assembled tonight for the little helicopter. The screws were so small that I could hardly see the threads!
