It Flies!

I got caught up on my blogs this morning, then I went out to work on helicopters.  I put that little rotor head on the mini helicopter, I never did get one nut on, I finally gave up and put a drop of glue on the threads.  As I was taking it out for a test flight, James drove up with Michelle, the first thing they asked was if I was going to Auna's 13th. birthday party.  I had completely forgotten about it, so I rushed around getting ready and walked over with James.  Everyone was sure in a good mood today, lots of story telling and laughter  Laury had made her normal delicious cake!  After we got back I put a flight on the little helicopter and it flies great with the new head.

I did the final mounting of the electronics in the Trex and took it out for it's first flight.  I had to make one adjustment to the blade tracking and it was flying pretty good.  I made a few adjustments in the transmitter to the pitch and throttle curves and it flew better.  After a few more adjustments and a fresh battery, I put the canopy on and had Vera take some pictures of me flying it.   It was a great day, I ended getting more flying in today than I did Saturday.
