The Lewis County club had a work party and meeting today at 9 AM. I had to stop for gas, so I was a few minutes late getting there and they were almost done with the work party so I just visited until the meeting. The wind was blowing like crazy, in the picture Vera took during the meeting you can see that Dick has his paperwork weighted down with pliers. We had a good turn out, I heard someone mentioned 17 people attended.
Not much flying went on after the meeting, it was just too windy, I flew Bob's P-47 for him and then flew three flights with my planes before we headed home. You can see the windsock in both pictures is standing straight out. I got my anemometer out, it recorded a 10 Mph average with gusts to 20 Mph. After we got home, I watered the new plants again today, then I got the printer software downloaded and installed so I could scan a couple of papers for the club. I made great progress on the new helicopter tonight, I got the receiver installed and the first of the programming done in the transmitter. I watched a couple of episodes of Duck Dynasty and How is it Made before heading to bed.
