Mowing and Flying

When we pulled in at the Toledo field today Steve was already mowing.  He wanted to get the area by the benches done before people arrived and parked there.  I tipped up the tables so they could be mowed under, just as I was finishing that up Doug arrived and helped me.  I took the other mower over and mowed Mrs. Herren's lawn and then visited her for a little while.
While I was gone Doug was giving Steve a break.
This is the crew today minus Steve and Vera.  Chuck on the left mowed around the barn, Leonard used a string trimmer along the safety fence and around the barn.  Chuck's wife Diane is on the right.
There were a lot of grass clumps so I ran the sweeper around and picked up some of them.  The wind came up but I think everyone got in a flight or two after we finished the field maintenance.
This is how the field looked when we finished.
As I was bringing the camera in this evening I spotted this bunny eating by the car.  It took off after I got a couple of pictures of it by the car but stopped when I whistled at it and I got another picture.  It stayed right there until I was almost in the house.
As I was making one last trip to the shop I noticed the sunset on the clouds behind the shop.  When I turned to the West there was no color so I took this picture with my phone.  It was a busy day, I will probably sleep good tonight.
