Spring, I hope has sprung!

The weather has been great the last couple of days, in the sixties, so I hope spring is here!  Our Easter Lilies are coming up and starting to bloom.  We only pick a few, so some of the bunches are getting pretty big.
I discovered the bumble bees and honey bees were out also, a sure sign it is getting warmer. Wednesday while Vera was at bible study, I helped Emmy's friend Dan work on a mixer, luckily I had the right size capacitor in the drawer and it ran fine after Dan installed it.  I had a nice time visiting with him as he worked on it.  We made a run to Castle Rock and did a few errands, then I worked on the RV-9 the rest of the day.
Today, I took all the flower and bee pictures.  I also did some pruning and hauled the clippings to the compost pile.  Every year we put stuff on the pile until I can hardly throw it high enough to get it on top. Each spring, it has rotted down to about half as high.
This evening we went over to Dianne's for Des's 40th birthday party.  Everyone was in a great mood and we had a good time.  The cake and candy was delicious and I may have eaten a little too much because I did not need a bedtime snack.
