It was sure nice to see some sunshine this morning. I was excited to enjoy our one nice day in a long time. We got to the field about 10:30, I started unloading planes and Vera grabbed the camera, big surprise as I stepped out the door.
I am getting ready for the first flight of the day in this picture, I trimmed out the little Yak I had repaired. I was going to bring the new Cub, but the receiver acted up when I checked things out this morning, so I just left it home.
This is Ken and Leonard flying, we ended up with 5 flyers out there today. I got 4 of my planes out and ended up flying about a dozen times.
The end of the day, the Dirty Birdy was the first one out this morning and the last one in this afternoon.
After I had unloaded and put the motor home away, I noticed the moon on my last trip to the house, so I stopped and took a few pictures. That was a nice end to the day.
