Gardening

We combined our mail run with a trip to 4 Corners for some flowers and vegetables to plant.

My Mom gave us this planter years ago.  We used it to balance the plants we put around the propane cylinder.

We also added two more flowerpots that will cover the lower part of the cylinder.  We spent most of the day planting flowers and veggies.  Then I mowed the lawn.  It was a good day for working outside, not too hot or cold.   The calendar on my phone reminded me that Auna's birthday party was tonight.

Bridget was a big hit with everyone.  She is lots of fun to watch.  Auna turned 11 today, she made up a game from closeup pictures of things around their house.  You had to identify what they were.  I looked at it and did not recognize anything, so I went and had some chips.

Auna and Jillian are blowing out the candles.  The cake and ice cream were delicious. Everyone was in a good mood and it was fun visiting with everyone.  I know one thing, after all the work today, I am going to sleep great tonight.
