Flying and Spraying at Toledo

It was overcast and cool when we got there but very light winds.  I got in eleven flights before I decided to start spraying.

I am making the last pass on the runway with my second batch of weed killer in this picture.  When I went to mix the second batch the generator wouldn't start to power the pond pump, I think it's battery is bad.  I fired up the inverter and it ran the pump fine.  It also did a great job powering the microwave so I could warm up my lunch sandwich.  Vera had made some awesome sandwiches for us today using the Kalama Sourdough bread.  I used the rest of that batch around the tables and parking area.  I went over to Mrs. Herren's with the third batch and after a nice visit with her I sprayed her lawn.

Then I came back to the field and used the last of the spray to finish the area between the parking and Buckley Road.  Having the wide spray booms sure makes the job go a lot faster.  The only thing I had to watch was the wind sock so I was always going into the wind while I sprayed.
