Family Outdoor Adventure

I went down this morning and helped the Cowlitz Valley Radio Control Flyers put on a display at Lake Sacajawea.  The Longview Parks Department was putting on an event called the Family Outdoor Adventure.  Just three of us from the club showed up but I had plenty of planes in the motor home so I unloaded 14 or them.  We got to talk to quite a few people and answer questions during the three and a half hours it lasted.  I had taken a bunch of magazines to give away and printed up a flyer to hand out.  I will take the magazines to the next two events we do with the Parks Department later this month and in September, maybe I can get rid of them all.  We went to dinner with Barry at the 49er this evening and had a good time visiting with him.  After we got home Barry came in and brought Bentley with him, it was fun watching him explore a new surroundings.
