Vera is talking to Carole (in the purple top) and Carole's sister Vicki during our tour of the garden.
As we were leaving Carole's I spotted this in the corner of the Secret Garden.
Our next stop was at Vera's friend Linda's Rust and Dust garden. Linda had lots of different kinds of flowers and cute settings. This was just part of the back fence.
Here is part of Linda's front yard.
The Dahlia garden on Chapman road was the next on our list. This is Vera's favorite dahlia, we were only a few steps into the garden when she asked for a picture of it.It was just a couple of steps until I spotted my favorite, the owner said we should come back in a month when the whole garden will be in bloom. We ended up buying several succulents before we left.
On the way out I took a picture of the driveway, it is fairly long and this picture just shows about one third of it.
The last one on our list for today was the Plant Station on Sandy Bend Rd. They had lots of beautiful flowers as it is an evaluation/trial garden for new plant introductions. This is Vera just before I lost her.
I didn't know it, but she had went on the Secret Trail which I took also after taking a few pictures but I never caught up with her.
The Secret Trail was lots of fun, you never knew what you would see next. They said it was made for their kids when they were younger.
Of course there was a flower bed along the trail! I finally found Vera buying a plant when I got through the trail.
When we left the Plant Station we went to Kaiser so I could pick up the hat I left there on Monday. Then Home Depot got a visit so we would have new pots for the plants we got. It was getting pretty warm by then so we headed home by way of Jack in the Box in Kelso. I decided to swing by the airport on the way and there were two Albatross's parked there, so I had to stop for pictures.
James came up and mowed this afternoon. We had a great afternoon and evening visiting with him, Barry and Laury. We took Barry to the El Compadre for dinner. It was a good day, I took 150 pictures today and I spent the evening getting them edited.
