Monday, More Babe Ruth

All we did Sunday was go to church and mess around home, we found out James' Babe Ruth team had won their games and were playing in the championship game today, so we started planning on going to it.  This picture is during the National Anthem before the start of the game today.

Olympic Stadium is pretty big, I am out in center field taking this picture and that is where the bleachers and roof end.

The stadium is a great place to watch baseball, we watched from just above first base.

 James played first the whole game and did a great job!

Here he is hitting a monster double, he was walked twice and grounded out to the first baseman once.

This is the closing ceremony, they played great, but ended up losing in an extra inning 12 to 11.  They still go to the regional tournament at Clark College next week.

After we got home and it had cooled off a little I got the quad out to see how well the new red LEDs showed up when it was darker and try out my landing gear extensions.  Before adding them, it was sitting on the battery when I took off or landed it.  They are not real fancy, just pieces of pipe insulation, but they work great!

Vera took some pictures of her newest plants, moss roses, after we got home also.
