Hot weather flying

Since the weather forecast was for a hot day, we were headed to the Toledo field about 7:15 this morning.  I was surprised when it was foggy up there.  I flew the TREX 500 with the Hughes 500 body on it while I was waiting for the fog to lift.
I flew the Bronco's maiden flight after the fog lifted, it flies great!  I ended up making 3 flights with it.  I flew the quad once and shot some video while I cruised around.  By 1, it was hot enough that I was ready to call it a day, so I loaded up and we were headed home about 2.  The first thing I did after we got home, was water the plants and new grass, there is lots of it coming up now.  I goofed up one landing, so I made a minor repair to the Dirty Birdy's sub fin.  While that was drying I took the landing gear and camera mount off the quad so I could fly it without them.  The quad weighs 1 pound 10 ounces and the landing gear/camera mount weighs 1 pound 8 ounces, so they change the way it flies quite a bit.  With the landing gear and mount on I could only fly 6 to 8 minutes, without it, I flew 13 minutes.  I had calls from Barry and my friend Bob this evening and I had nice visits with both of them.  I did some texting with James about the tournament, they lost their first game today, but they won the second one.  James said he got walked twice, and hit one clear to the fence, but it got caught.  The other team was poor losers, they were trying to pick a fight after the game, but the coaches stepped in and prevented a brawl.  They play again tomorrow at 1.
