What a nice shopping day!

First thing this morning Vera headed out to walk with the church group. When she got home we headed right back down for the Rummage Sale at the church. We picked up a few items so we could donate to the mission trip to Alaska. Then it was off to Vancouver, first stop was the Harbor Freight Sidewalk Sale. We wandered around in there for quite a while and found a bunch of miscellaneous stuff we wanted.

We wanted to go to Office Max next as we had a $10 off coupon for there. I opened the GPS application on my phone and spoke "Office Max" to it (the phone recognizes voice commands) and an Office Max location came up on the map. I could see 4Th Plain and SR 500 on the map so I zoomed in and there it was about 300 yards behind us across the parking lot. You can tell we had not looked around much! The sun was out and it was shirt sleeve weather by then. After getting the copy holder Vera wanted and a new phone for the shop we headed to Costco.

We had a great time in Costco as we only had a couple of things on our list and could just wander picking up what struck our fancy. When we headed home from there it was warm enough that I ran the air conditioner all the way home. A first for this year! When we got home we noticed both cars were still at Dianne's so Vera said I should run over and see the twins and she would unload the Blazer. She only had to offer twice and I was gone.

They were almost ready to head home so I only got to visit for a couple of minutes but it was fun. Dianne told me about the rocks they left on my porch so I went right home and took a picture of them. Dianne has some great pictures of them doing it on her blog.
I hope everyone got a chance to get a little vitamin D today.
