We were up early this morning so Vera could walk with Pastor Vonda. When she got home we headed to Kaiser for my Thursday blood test, the results were right in the middle of the range they want. Now to keep it there! After that we did a little shopping at Fred Meyer and ran into a friend from ham radio. He is in his 80's and looks great! After getting gas we decided to go home via Delameter Valley as there was a wreck on Ocean Beach by Lowes that had traffic backed up. It was a nice relaxing drive we only saw 3 other cars on the way to Castle Rock.
The creeks are running pretty high, not sure which one this is along the Delameter Valley Rd. When we got home we had lunch and I went out and worked on the planes for awhile before going over to Dianne's to visit. I colored with the twins and pulled Harper around in the little wagon.
Then Steve and I took them outside to play, that was a lot of fun. They played on the slide, toured my shop and played in the rocks.
Harper (I think!) likes to pick up handfuls of gravel, turn and drop it, turn and pick up more and do the same thing.
Vera taught her last Girls Club knitting class at the church today. While she was gone I made good headway on the camera plane. The elevators and rudder are hinged, I made up a motor mount, epoxied it on and mounted the motor.
I painted the canopy and put everything together for a picture. Of course the paint was not completely set and I put a mark in it with my fingernail. Oh well, it needed another coat of paint. Next is a nacelle for the motor and a landing gear.
