Another busy day!

We were off to Kaiser for my blood test right after Vera finished her walk with the church group. The test result today was 2.8, in the range of 2.0 to 3.0 INR they are shooting for. Then it was home to load the recycling and make a run to the drop boxes. Since we were going to be gone this evening I did the garbage next and got it down by the road. I wanted to run the little motorcycle after being wet yesterday so I went out to the carport and got it running after much kicking. Then it died and when I went to restart it, it rolled forward off the kick stand and tipped over taking me with it. I ended up on the ground and bumped my head on some bricks. Skinned up a spot on top my head and Vera said it pulled out some hair (just what I need!), Score: Cycle 1, Alan 0. Then I found time for a visit to see what the twins were doing. Ava got Elmo going and they did some dancing to the Hokie Pokie, that was so much fun to watch. They have developed some awesome moves.
Then they went into the playroom and convinced me they wanted me in there also with lots of sign language and grunts. Harper wanted into the play pen and soon so did Ava. They played with their dolls and took some pretend naps.
It only took three pictures to get them both with either a smile or grin. I cut my visit short as there were some pictures I wanted to transfer onto the SD card for Marie's digital picture frame. We were going to the model club meeting tonight and planned on stopping to see her. After our visit with Marie, we stopped at Arby's for dinner and ran into another couple that was going to the meeting also and had a nice visit. The trip home after the meeting was not the best, lots of rain, spray and traffic. Just like the weekend, this day went by fast.
