Lost Keys

Vera had a dental appointment at 7:10 this morning after it was over we decided to go to The Corner Cafe for breakfast.  We cruised around for a couple of minutes but could not locate it so I pulled over and asked Google Maps for directions.  We were only a tenth of a mile away and could have seen it from where we were parked.  I had the Country Eggs Benedict and they were great, eggs and sausage on a biscuit topped with country gravy and served with hashbrowns.  I took half of it home and had it for dinner.

After breakfast we went to Safeway, I had gotten an email that some rewards were expiring at the end of the month.  After doing a little shopping I filled the Mitsubishi and was able to get a dollar off each gallon.

We had a low of 32 last night, when it got into the 40s we started washing the motor home.  Vera scrubbed around the trim while I washed the awning.  Then I washed and she rinsed as we did the sides, front and back.

4 hours later it was looking pretty good.  After a break for a late lunch I came out to hook up the Smart Car.  I needed to move it ahead about a foot but I couldn't find the key.  Several hours later after many trips to the shop, the van, my desk and the motor home and having dinner.  I was headed out to lock the shop and have one final look around when I remembered I had left them in the lock for the hitch.  I will sleep a lot better now.
