I had another nice visit this morning with Raymond before we headed over the Siskiyou's. He wanted to see me back out without disconnecting the Smart Car and luckily I did it! Our timing was good as I5 was bare and wet over the pass.
This was our first stop after coming over the Siskiyou's. Mt Shasta wasn't visible because of the clouds but it felt good to get outside for a few minutes.
This picture was taken at the end of my walk at the Weed Rest Area.
While we were walking around we came upon this large pine cone and spent several minutes pondering where it had come from.

We ended up spending the night at the Willows RV Park and this is what greeted us as we were getting ready to leave. A double rainbow was trying to form but did not get very clear.
This is the sunset in Coalinga where we spent the night. We didn't do much today except follow I5 South.
