Flying at Quartzsite

We headed out early to fly with the local club, I forgot to put the step up so I bent a couple of arms that I will have to straighten when we get to Barry's.
I had a great time at the field, I flew the Skylane, P-39 and B-36.  There was lots of interest in the P-39 and B-36.
I am putting the elevators on the B-36, I removed them so it would be easier to pack.
The wing has lots of connections that must be made before it can be bolted down, it is the hardest part of the whole assembly.
Finally it is all ready to go!
I am landing after my flight, everything worked great so I am ready to fly it at the Electric Flight Festival next weekend.  One of the Quartzsite club members used to be a tail gunner in the B-36 and really enjoyed the flight, he invited me over to his place, so we will probable go visit him one day next week.
There was a good turnout today, they have 20 tables and all of them were full.  I did a little rearranging as I put things away and found I could put both the B-36 and P-39 in without taking the elevators off the B-36.  This afternoon Barry's friends Mark and Lynne came for the Ham Fest, and are now parked by us.
I really like the colors of this table cover Vera has been knitting since we left home.
