Friday morning we went to the flying field for the mowing. My back was sore so I was not planning on mowing but wanted to be sure everything got done since I kind of organized the mowing schedule. I had a great time visiting with everyone and having a couple of donuts that Steve had brought.
We took the Westside Hwy home and saw this barn along the Toledo Vader road, the other side has completely fallen down.
I have spent quite a bit of time since Thursday working on the P-39. With the tail on it is starting to look more like an airplane.Sunday Morning we were the Acolytes for the service at church. I thought this made a nice scene and I wanted something for my blog.
In the afternoon we went down to Mik and Michelle's for a Mother's Day dinner. Debbie and Michelle were looking at an app that James used to send his mom a Mother's Day message.
Lots of good food, Mik had done a pork roast on the Traeger and also my favorite asparagus, I love the way he does it on the Traeger. We also had fresh corn on the cob that was really sweet. Debbie made a great potato salad with eggs their chickens had laid.
Debbie and Josh got Vera this flower arrangement for Mother's Day.
James picked out several hanging baskets for Mik, Michelle and James to give to their Mothers. This is the one Vera chose.
