Monday we took a drive up Barnes Drive so Vera could try out the Mitsubishi. The drive was great and she likes driving it.
Tuesday we pretty much stayed at home all day. James stopped by for a little while and dropped off his Mom's sewing machine for a tune up. After a cleanup it seemed to run fine. I did a bunch of work on the P-39 and I put a new receiver in the Convergence. That way I will not have to pack an extra transmitter to the field. I put in a quick test flight in the driveway after I was done and it flew fine.
Sunday night I got an ad for a plane I really liked. I already have so many that I hesitated buying it. I mentioned it to Vera and she asked if it was an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly), when I said it was, she said go for it and I did. It showed up today at the post office.
They had it packed really well and there was no damage. I can hardly wait to get done with the P-39 so I can start on it. James came by again today, visited and picked up the sewing machine. I put the van for sale on Facebook's Toutle Town page today. I had two responses in the first hour, it was sold and gone a couple of hours later.
