Dogwood and the rain returns

We decided to go for a little drive and gas up the Mitsubishi this morning.  The sun roof is sure nice on cloudy days, it lets in lots of light and made the day seem a little brighter.  We had to use the manual several times to figure features out.  Of course we went during a pretty heavy downpour so the wipers were one thing we learned about.  It was a nice relaxing drive.  After we got home Vera noticed how bright the dogwood looked so she took several pictures.
I spent most of the day fitting the wing to the fuselage of the P-39.  I had a pretty good fit until I added the plywood for the wing fillets.  Now I have to do some more grinding tomorrow.
