Michelle let us know that they were honoring the seniors before today's home game against Woodland so we left a little early. We were all prepared for a really hot afternoon but there was a pretty strong wind in Longview that kept us cool so it was a very enjoyable game to watch.
There were six seniors on the team this year and they had a nice little ceremony before the game started.
James had a pretty good afternoon, he was walked, had a RBI hit and made it to third on an error at first base, from there he scored on a wild pitch. He scored again somewhere during the game but I lost track where. Mark Morris ended up winning 11 to 4.
We headed home right after the game for Auna's 16th birthday party.
We had a great time visiting with the family before and after Auna blew out the candles. As usual, the cake and ice cream was great! Auna had already taken everything for her divers licence so all she had to do was print out the temporary.Parker turned sixteen just a few months ago, so they got them together for a picture. Since we hadn't had time for dinner we ran down to Burger King after the party for a quick bite.
