James Baseball and Auna's Birthday

I made a trip around the yard this morning taking pictures of flowers.  This is my favorite rhododendron, I make sure it gets plenty of water each summer and keep the brush cleared around it.

 James had a game this afternoon, it was nice and sunny, but boy was the wind blowing.  We only lasted about 5 minutes before we put our jackets on.  James was the designated hitter tonight, he is catching balls for the coach during warm up in this picture.

This is one of James' hits tonight, he was up three times and got a nice hit once and grounded out twice.  They were ahead most of the game, but there were a bunch of errors in the seventh inning and they lost.

Auna turned 15 today, she and Rielee are blowing out the candles.  I had a nice time visiting and watching them play a card game that uses spoons appropriately called Spoons!   I could see after the first round that I wouldn't be any good at it, it is a good thing I was videoing it instead of playing!
