Starter and flying

Saturday:
We had picked up the starter on the way to James' game on Friday, so I went out this morning and installed it.  It was sure nice when the van started right up.  This was the easiest starter to change that I have ever done.  Vera suggested washing it as it was pretty dirty from sitting around this winter.  After we got done, we loaded up the recycling and took it to town, it started great at every stop!  Later, I got the motor home out and loaded it up for Sunday's flying and club meeting.

Sunday:
We got there a little before nine and were the first ones there.  By ten, I had several flights in and we were wondering if anyone was going to show up before the meeting at noon.   People finally started trickling in a little after ten and we ended up with 12 members at the meeting.  Just before the meeting I asked Vera to take some pictures of it.  She went around taking pictures of our friends, when she got to Jerry (on the right) she told him to smile and he did!
This is just as we were getting set to have the meeting.  It was a short meeting and we got back to flying.
I flew the Super Cub the most today, I put the Soloshot tag on the Stearman and got the best video yet.  Now I have to remember the base units top row of LED programming lights should be Red, Green, Red!  Of course, I did one flight and half of another with the lens cover closed.  That video was not too interesting!  The weather was nice, the wind right down the runway at 5 to 9 mph, so it was good flying.  We headed home around six after about eight hours of flying.
