Today I took Vera on a Mothers Day shopping trip to the Watershed Garden Works. They sell plants native to the Northwest there. They were very friendly people and showed us all around the nursery.
One of the first things Vera asked them about was native dogwood and she ended up getting this one.
Then they showed us this type of dogwood that is a ground cover and blooms all summer, so we came home with is also. Vera got six plants and I got one for the pond.
I would put the name of it here, but I forgot and the slip with the name on it is in the motor home in my jacket pocket. We did some shopping and had lunch on the way home
