We walked this morning, but there was no trip up the Rock, my legs were a little sore. I spent most of the day working on the Dr1, I got the guns mounted and installed the pilot. My friend Bob gave me this pilot a while back and it is just perfect for the Dr1. Next, I hooked the motor to the speed control, checked the rotation and installed the cowl. Then it was off to the house to show Vera my work, and take a few pictures of it. The twins stopped by and gave Vera some BK coupons, then they came into the shop and wanted to play with the magnets. They asked for the big magnet on a handle, then they dropped a bunch of screws on the floor and picked them up with it. It is fun to watch, especially when the big magnet sticks to the file cabinet and they can hardly get it off. This evening, I ran down to Stuffy's for a club meeting, I had their clam strip basket and I thought it was really good. It was a short meeting, so I swung by and visited with James for a while before heading home.
While I was gone, Vera noticed this iris in bloom and took several pictures of it. The flowers are just starting to bloom up here on the hill, you can see in the background that the rhododendron is just opening up.
