The Three Fs, Flying, F-18s and Flowers!

First thing this morning, I got the hose end sprayer out and put moss killer on the lawn, the moss is really bad this year.  After Vera headed to bible study and when I had finished the lawn, I got the motor home out and loaded up to go flying at Toledo.  I only got 3 planes out today, the Katana has not been out for a while, so I brought it along.  There were only 3 flyers today, Leonard, John and I.  John had a couple of planes he needed help with, so I helped him with his J-3 and Leonard did the T-28.
This F-18 came right over us at about a 1000 feet, boy was it loud!  We saw six of them today headed over to Eastern Washington to the bombing range.
After I got home and had dinner, I went out to unload and fix a couple of minor problems.  After I glued one, I took the camera and went for a nature walk taking pictures of the spring flowers.  I was surprised when I found the wild strawberries in bloom.  After the glue had dried, I put the plane back into the motor home and put it away.  It wasn't long after that when James showed up with the baseball fund raiser cookies we had ordered.  We had a nice visit with him, then I went over to Steve and Dianne's with him to deliver their cookies.  As always, we had a lot of fun there looking at some old pictures of James and the cousins.
