Again?

Yep, here I am again trying to remember what I did yesterday, it must not have been very exciting.  Just as I finished that sentence, it came to me, we both had noon dental appointments.  Neither one of us had any problems, so it was just Xrays and a cleaning.  We went to lunch at a restaurant on Ocean Beach Hwy. that has changed to healthy food.  We had panini's, they were OK, but not as tasty as some we have had, plus there was lots of noise, so it was not a comfortable dining experience.  We both felt our sandwiches yesterday were much better.  Fred Meyer during spring break is a zoo, so our stop there was fairly short.  We went from there to Michelle's for a visit.  We had a nice time up there, then headed home.  Big surprise Monday, I checked and our IRS refund was already in the Credit Union.

Vera had bible study today, she came home with a plant which she took out on the porch and put into one of our pots.  That little flower in the front of the pot survived from last summer, pretty amazing that they are the same color.  Michelle had sent a multiple outlet cigarette lighter extension home yesterday for me to repair.  I looked in my junk drawer for the plug I needed and by the time I  found one I liked, I was clear to the bottom.  As I was looking, I sorted everything and threw away some obvious junk.  Not sure why I saved the vacuum tubes, but I think they fit a couple of old radios I have.  One radio is out of a B-17, the other is one of the big console models from the thirties and I have one that always fascinated me as a kid when we would go to Grandma Jarvi's.  The actual plug repair took about 15 minutes, but I had a good time going through the stuff this afternoon.  I had a BK gift card, so we used it for dinner tonight, which was fun, because the police were looking for someone in the area and there was lots of activity to watch and listen to as we ate.
