Up Early Again
I had a doctors appointment this morning, so I was up early and got my exercises out of the way. I skipped breakfast in case they wanted to do blood tests. They were running late, but I had found an Experimental Aircraft Association magazine, it had some great articles in it and I didn't even notice the time. No major problems today, I just had him look at a couple of skin spots that he ended up freezing off. I was pretty hungry by the time I left there, so I headed right over to Burgerville. I ran into another ex Fibre employee who became a foreman about the same time I did and had a nice visit with him. I stopped to pick up the mail on the way home and ran into Bob Chastain in the Post Office and we ended up talking for quite a while. After I got home, I decided to mow the lawn, it is growing like crazy and will probably need to be mowed twice a week until it gets dryer. Right after I started, the twins came out to play and were giving the mower the evil eye, so I shut it down and went over to watch them play until it was time for them to go home. After doing all the lawn and trails, I was finishing up around the shop when a front tire went flat. It looks like new tire time for the mower as the front tires has some serious cracks in it. After I ate dinner, I settled in my chair and woke up a couple of hours later. That pretty much took care of the evening.
