I was excited this morning, the day of the picnic had arrived, I was up about 6. We just had a couple of things to do this morning and we would be ready to go. At 7:11 we were headed out the door! We were the first ones there, so we had our choice of parking spots. We really liked the one we chose today and will probably try for it in the future.
This is some of what I flew today. We had two sun shades set up next to the motor home and it worked great.
This is looking North from where we were parked. Dick Anderson, the club president counted 52 model airplanes, 6 Helicopters, 42 people and 2 dogs. There were 20 flyers on our sign in sheet.
This is what it looked like at 10:30! More people showed up after that and parking spots were getting hard to find by the time we ate. We were the last to leave at about 6:30! It was a great day with plenty of flying and lots of visiting.
