The Last Rose of the summer

We headed up to the Toledo field early today so we could get things set up after the Thrashing Bee.

The tables has been moved back from out in the field but were not in the right places. Vera and our friends Audrey and Leonard got all the tables positioned while I mowed. Later Rob and his dad Lynn moved the trailer back and set it up. Leonard unloaded the sign and he and Lynn put it and the wind sock up. Between some of this activity we got in a few flights. It was really blowing and Rob had his plane flying against the wind and not moving.
When we got home I saw Parker with Ava so I knew this was the night the twins were staying over night. After some unloading and eating I headed over to see them. I had a good time watching them and taking pictures. While we were eating I noticed this rose which looks like the last one for this summer.

I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day Weekend!
