More Comet construction

1-31-2021 This is what I had done when I quit tonight.  It doesn't show but there was lots of shear webbing to put in between the top and bottom spars.  When that had dried for a few hours I was able to put the sheeting on the leading edges and center section.
 
The weekend was spent installing the mounts for the nose gear retract and the main gear in case my plan doesn't work out.  I also got the cowl laminated, all 13 layers of it.  Now there will be a lot of sanding in my future.  I dug around in my motor drawer and found this E-flite Power 25 that should be perfect for this plane.
