The weather forecast for today was great, Vera had bible study with a birthday party afterwards so I went flying. The airport cameras showed fog but I decided to head up. This is how it looked when I pulled in this morning and I was able to start flying right away.
I did my lawn dart imitation today, four of the same planes up and I was flying the wrong one. The damage wasn't too bad, I just need to make a new nose.
This is Leonard taking off with his Duster. I think there was nine others there most of the day and two showed up just as I was leaving. It was great flying all day, warm with no wind. The weather station across the road reported fifty four degrees today, with no wind that made it really comfortable and I had my jacket off most of the day.
I didn't take many pictures today, this is just before I headed home.
I kept seeing a great sunset as I was driving home. I finally was able to stop on Barnes Drive and take a picture after the sun was down but it was lighting up the clouds. The fog was just starting to form in the low areas as I continued towards home.
